Job Summary

We are seeking to hire a Site Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for high-performance residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge, safety awareness, and the ability to coordinate multiple trades in a fast-paced construction environment.  

Responsibilities and Duties:

·         Directing and supervising subcontractors and site labor.

·         Maintaining project schedule and daily reports.

·         Enforcing jobsite safety, cleanliness, and quality standards.

·         Coordinating inspections, deliveries, and logistics.

·         Identifying field issues and working with the Project Manager to resolve them.

·         Communicating progress and site conditions to the CM/PM team.

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:

·         5+ years of field supervision experience (residential or commercial).

·         Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, codes, and safety standards.

·         Proven ability to read drawings and specifications.

·         Excellent communication and leadership skills.

·         OSHA 30 certification (preferred).

·         Experience with high-performance/Passive House projects a plus.

·         Proficiency in using MS Suite 365.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

·         Experience with Builder Trend 

·         Experience with Passive Building execution, working with Phius (Passive House Institute US) Rater/Verifier, and certification documentation submissions 

·         Experience with other sustainable building practices and green building certification programs, such as LEED. 

·         Experience in navigating BIM software (not drafting).
