River Architects was asked to help with the revitalization of one of Peekskill’s oldest structures- which once served as an inn for Revolutionary War soldiers. The goal is to restore deteriorated facades, and expose or replicate historic features found in archival photographs, while opening up storefronts to encourage street-life, with the goal of ultimately bringing in a bistro-type restaurant with a sidewalk café.
