The client wished to maintain the open sense and light of the original volume, while still enjoying privacy. Our solution was to shape the space with the least number of opaque walls as possible, with rooms created or dissolved by the use of etched glass sliding panels. The cool glass partitions contrast the warmth and texture of the original brick walls and heavy timber of the former warehouse structure.
